ECOVACS Warranty Issue: Power Adapter Not Covered

I want to share my real experience with ECOVACS regarding a critical issue: the power adapter is NOT covered under warranty despite being an essential part of the product.

Timeline of Events

Jan 26, 2025: Purchased DEEBOT Y1 Pro.
Mar 8, 2025: The device stopped charging.
Mar 18, 2025: ECOVACS support claimed the power adapter is NOT covered under warranty.
Mar 18, 2025: I checked the ECOVACS warranty webpage, and there was no mention that the power adapter was excluded from the warranty. (ECOVACS HK Warranty Page)
Mar 19, 2025: After further inquiries, the charge was "waived" but without confirmation if it was actually under warranty.
Mar 20, 2025: ECOVACS redirected my concern to their "website department" without addressing my questions directly.

Key Issues

ECOVACS does not cover the power adapter under warranty, even though it is a necessary component for the DEEBOT to function. This was not clearly stated in their warranty policy. Instead of addressing my concerns, they redirected me to their website department. If I had not pursued the matter, I would have been unfairly charged for a replacement adapter.
